Description

For sample adults in 2002 who had used natural herbs for their health during the past 12 months (HERYR) and had used natural herbs to treat a specific health problem or condition (HERYTREAT), HERYNLCIRC indicates whether the person had used natural herbs to treat a circulation problem (other than in the legs).

Related Variables

A circulation problem (other than in the legs) was one of 74 possible specific conditions that respondents could report treating with natural herbs in 2002.

 

The other such conditions are:

  • bowel problems and constipation (HERYBOWL)
  • other nerve damage, including carpal tunnel syndrome (HERYCTS)
  • joint pain or stiffness/other joint condition (HERYJNTPAIN)
  • migraine or severe headache (HERYMIG)
