Description
For sample persons under age 18, PNEUMONEV indicates if the child ever had pneumonia. The inquiry did not require that the pneumonia be diagnosed by a doctor or health professional, and a definition of "pneumonia " was not provided in the survey text or in the Field Representative's Manual .
The question for PNEUMONEV was part of a series of questions on child health conditions in the 1988 Supplement on Child Health.
