Description
For sample persons under age 18, MONOEV indicates if the child ever had mononucleosis. The inquiry did not require that the mononucleosis be diagnosed by a doctor or health professional, and a definition of "mononucleosis" was not provided in the survey text or in the Field Representative's Manual .
The question for MONOEV was part of a series of questions on child health conditions in the 1988 Supplement on Child Health.
