Description

For sample children under 18 years old who have an immunization record, IMROTHER reports if the person had any other immunization shots that were not mentioned in the survey.

Immunization shots that were mentioned in the survey include: (IMRCPOXNO), diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis (IMRDTP), hepatitis B (IMRHEPB), HIB vaccine (IMRHIB), measles or Measles-Mumps-Rubella (IMRMMR), pneumococcal (IMRPNU), polio vaccine (IMRPOL), rotavirus (IMRROTNO), tetanus-and diphtheria booster (IMRTDBNO).

Comparability

Changes in the universe limit the comparability of this variable. As always, users are advised to use the appropriate weight for their analyses.

Universe

  • 1997: Sample children under 18, and all children 19 to 35 months old in quarters 1 and 2 and 12 to 35 months old in quarters 3 and 4, who have had other shots on record.
  • 1998-2002: Sample children under 18, and all children 12 to 35 months old, who have had other shots on record.
  • 2003: Sample children under 18, who have had other shots on record.
