Description

For sample children under 18 years old who have an immunization record, IMRHEPB reports if the person had any Hepatitis B vaccine that was included in the record.

Users are strongly encouraged to visit the Universe tab for more information on changes in the universe across surveyed years.

Comparability

Changes in the universe limit the comparability of this variable. As always, users are advised to use the appropriate weight for their analyses.

Universe

  • 1992-1993: Sample persons under age 6, with any information transcribed from a shot record.
  • 1994-1996: Sample persons under age 6, and all persons 19-35 months old, with any information transcribed from a shot record.
