For sample adults who do not use vision rehabilitation services or assistive/adaptive/accessibility devices (VDEVICE, VISIONREHAB), VREHABDEVREC indicates whether a health professional ever recommended such services or device to help the respondent with their vision difficulties.
This variable is included in the Sample Adult Vision Supplement, sponsored by the National Eye Institute.
