Description

For sample adults and sample children who experienced TBI symptoms from a blow or jolt to the head over the past 12 months (TBICONDAZYR or TBICONHEADYR), TBISPORTYR reports whether they were playing a sport or participating in a physical recreational activity, such as jogging, biking, or pick-up games, when they experienced blows or jolts to the head. If necessary, interviewers prompted respondents to "[I]nclude team or league sports competitions or practices, organized and non-organized sports. A pick-up game is when a group of players get together and spontaneously start a game, like basketball or soccer. "
