SUPP3WT is a 12-digit-numeric variable.

Description

SUPP3WT is an IPUMS NHIS-constructed variable that harmonizes the sampling weights for a select subset of the supplements of the original NHIS public use files. SUPP3WT is used only in cases where other sampling schemes for that survey year are already handled through PERWEIGHT, SAMPWEIGHT, SUPP1WT, or SUPP2WT.

For 1994 and 1995, SUPP3WT is used for persons selected to complete the Disability Phase I supplement. For 2011 and 2012, SUPP3WT is used for the adults and children who received the Disability Questions Test.
