Description

For sample adults aged 40 years and older who ever had a sigmoidoscopy (SIGEV) and reported the time since their last sigmoidoscopy in a number and time period format, SIGLTP reports the time period (in days, weeks, months, or years) corresponding to the units since the respondent had their sigmoidoscopy. SIGLNO reports the corresponding number of such time units.

The survey form directs interviewers to, "Enter time period for time since most recent sigmoidoscopy."
