Description

For persons age 5 to 24 who need orthodontic care (including persons who think they need to have their teeth straightened or who have been told by a dentist that they need to have their teeth straightened) but have not obtained it, ORTHNOR1 records the first reason why the person is not currently receiving care.

ORTHNOR1 is part of the Dental Health Supplement. Respondents could report up to three reasons for not receiving orthodontic care; ORTHNORM records the main reason.
