Description

NUMPREC is an IPUMS NHIS-constructed variable that reports the number of person records that are included in the sampled unit (normally the number of persons in the household). These person records all have the same serial number (SERIAL). The information contained in the household record (such as REGION, Region of residence) normally applies to all these persons.
