Description

For sample persons under age 18 who have taken at least one medicine in the past two weeks, MED2WFREQ1 indicates the frequency with which the child took the first type of medication in the past three months. Users interested in knowing the intake frequency for each of the reported medications should also use MED2WFREQ2, MED2WFREQ3, MED2WFREQ4, MED2WFREQ5, MED2WFREQ6, MED2WFREQ7, and MED2WFREQ8. MED2WFREQ2 is part of the "Medicine Use" section of the 1981 Child Health Supplement. For more information and related variables about child medication intake, please see MED2W1.
