Description

For sample adults who had a significant non-repetitive strain injury in the past 3 months and sample children who were significantly injured in the past 3 months (INJSIGNFCNT), INJSIGSAWDR reports whether they saw a doctor for their significant injury or injuries.

INJSIGSAWDR is part of the rotating core NHIS questions on sudden injury. For other core sudden injury and injury-related variables, please see INJANY.

  • 2020-2021; 2023: Sample adults age 18+ with a significant, non-repetitive strain injury in the past 3 months and sample children age 0-17 with a significant injury in the past 3 months (INJSIGNFCNT).
