Description

For sample adults who had a non-repetitive strain injury in the past 3 months and sample children who had any injury in the past 3 months (INJANY), INJSIGNFCNT reports whether the injury limited their usual activities for at least 24 hours after the injury occurred.

INJSIGNFCNT is part of the rotating core NHIS questions on sudden injury. For other core sudden injury and injury-related variables, please see INJANY.

  • 2020 2021: Sample adults age 18+ who had a non-repetitive strain injury in the past 3 months and sample children age 0-17 who had any injury in the past 3 months (INJANY).
