Description

For sample adults who had a significant non-repetitive strain injury in the past 3 months and sample children who were significantly injured in the past 3 months and saw a doctor for their significant injury or injuries (INJSIGSAWDR) and was hospitalized at least once in the past year or don't know or refused to say if they were hospitalized in the past year (HOSPNGHT), INJSIGHOSP reports whether they were hospitalized for their significant injury or injuries.

Comparability

There are no comparability issues.

Universe

  • 2020 2021: Sample adults age 18+ and sample children age 0-17 who saw a doctor about their significant injury (INJSIGSAWDR) and were either hospitalized at least once in the past 12 months or don't know or refused to say if they had been (HOSPNGHT).
