Description

For sample adults who had a non-repetitive strain injury in the past 3 months and sample children who had a significant injury in the past 3 months (INJSIGNFCNT), INJSIGFALL reports whether the injury occurred due to a fall.

INJSIGFALL is part of the rotating core NHIS questions on sudden injury. For other core sudden injury and injury-related variables, please see INJANY.
