Description

For sample adults who had a significant non-repetitive strain injury in the past 3 months and sample children who were significantly injured in the past 3 months and saw a doctor for their significant injury or injuries (INJSIGSAWDR) and went to the emergency room at least once in the past year or don't know or refused to say if they went to the emergency room in the past year (ERYRNO), INJSIGER reports whether they went to an emergency room for their significant injury or injuries.

Comparability

There are no comparability issues.

Universe

  • 2020-2021; 2023: Sample adults age 18+ and sample children age 0-17 who saw a doctor about their significant injury (INJSIGSAWDR) and either went to an ER at least once in the past 12 months or don't know or refused to say if they did (ERYRNO).
