Description
For sample persons age 20 and older in the second half of 1975, EXBOWLPAR indicates whether the person had participated in bowling in the past 12 months.
Bowling was one of 15 sports (including one residual "other" category) that respondents were asked about in the 1975 NHIS. Those who responded "Yes" to EXBOWLPAR were asked whether they had participated in bowling as part of a team (EXBOWLTEM) and whether they had participated in bowling tournaments either as an individual or as a member of a team (EXBOWLTOR) during the past 12 months.
