Description

For sample persons age 18 and over, CANMOSPIC reports if the person thought hot spicy foods increased one's risk of mouth or lip cancer. Persons could respond in categories of: probably increases, definitely increases, probably does not increase, or definitely does not increase. Persons could also report they don't know.

Related variables: persons were also asked if the following reasons increased one's risk of cancer:

• CANMOBITE, frequently biting one's cheek or lip

• CANMOALC, drinking alcohol

• CANMOSUN, excessive sunlight

• CANMOTOBAC, using tobacco in any form
