Description

For sample persons age 18 and over who were ever diagnosed with cancer and had more than one kind of cancer, CAN1STDIAHOW reports how first kind of cancer was detected. Users can also refer to the related variables: CAN1STPART, the part of the body that was affected; CAN1STDIAGDY, the year the first cancer was first diagnosed; and CAN1STDIAGE, the age the first cancer was diagnosed.

  • 1992: Sample persons age 18+ in quarters 1 and 2, and in 2 weeks of quarter 3 who were ever diagnosed with cancer and had more than one kind of cancer or for whom the number of kinds of cancer was unknown.
