Description
For sample persons age 18 and over who were ever diagnosed with cancer and had more than one kind of cancer, CAN1STDIAGE reports the age when first kind of cancer was diagnosed. Users can also refer to the related variables: CAN1STPART , the part of the body that was affected; CAN1STDIAHOW, how the first cancer was first diagnosed; and CAN1STDIAGDY, the year the person was diagnosed.
Universe
- 1992: Sample persons age 18+ in quarters 1 and 2, and in 2 weeks of quarter 3 who were ever diagnosed with cancer and had more than one kind of cancer (or had an unknown number of kinds of cancer) and for whom the year diagnosed with first type of cancer was unknown.
