Description

For all sample persons in 1977, BRACNLEG indicates whether anyone in the respondent's family used a brace on the leg or foot, (at the time of the interview). The 1977 the Field Representative's Manual noted that interviewers were not required to ask the question to determine if someone has an artificial leg, if such limb is apparent.
