Description

For all persons, BLUEYN reports if the person belongs to a Blue plan other than one reported in HMOPGPP.

Respondents who could not name an HMO or PGPP were excluded from HMOPGPP; all respondents were asked if anybody in the family is covered by a health insurance plan. Persons who are covered by Blue plans named in the follow up question are identified in this variable.

This variable is part of the NHIS supplement on HMO coverage.
