Description
For sample adults 18 and over who have ever served in the armed forces (ARMFEV), VADISBRATE reports if the respondent has a VA service-connected disability rating.
The 2019 Field Representative's Manual defines a service-connected disability rating as "a rating used to determine compensation payments and access to certain other benefits. The VA takes each individual injury or illness into consideration and gives it a numerical disability rating from 0 to 100 percent."
