Description

For sample children under 18 years old who have an immunization record and who have at least three Hepatitis B vaccines on their record, IMRHEPBDA3 reports the day when the person received his or her third Hepatitis B vaccine.

Users should combine IMRHEPBDA3 with IMRHEPBMO3 and IMRHEPBY3, which reports the month and year of the person's third Hepatitis B vaccine, in order to get the complete date when the person received his or her third Hepatitis B vaccine.

Users are strongly encouraged to visit the Universe tab for more information on changes in the universe across surveyed years.

Comparability

Changes in the universe limit the comparability of this variable. As always, users are advised to use the appropriate weight for their analyses.

Universe

  • 1992-1993: Sample persons under age 6, with any information transcribed from a shot record and at least three Hepatitis B shots indicated on record.
  • 1994-1996: Sample persons under age 6, and all persons 19-35 months old, with any information transcribed from a shot record and at least three Hepatitis B shots indicated on record.
