Description

For sample children under 18 years old with a shot record but not all of their shots are on the record and who have received an additional influenza shot that was not on the record, IMAFLU12M reports if the person received the additional influenza shot in the past 12 months.

Users are strongly encouraged to visit the Universe tab for more information on changes in the universe across surveyed years.

Comparability

Changes in the universe limit the comparability of this variable. As always, users are advised to use the appropriate weight for their analyses.

Universe

  • 2001-2002: Sample children under 18 and all other 12-35 month olds with a shot record who had received an additional influenza shot in the past 12 months and whose shots are not all on record.
  • 2003: Sample children under 18 with a shot record who had received an additional influenza shot in the past 12 months and whose shots are not all on record.
