Description
For sample adults who have had symptoms of dizziness or at least one balance problem, BALDIZLASTS reports how long each dizziness or balance problem spell lasts. Respondents were first asked to identify the most bothersome balance problem (BALSBOTHER) and BALDIZLASTS refers to this problem.
The Field Representative's Manual included the instructions, "For all of the questions asking about time frames, instruct respondents to estimate as best as he/she can if they are unsure."

The supplement consisted of a total 205 questions (some of which were only asked based on a previous response). Many of the questions in the supplement concern detailed information about a specific dizziness or balance problem, or the one the respondent identified if more than one was mentioned.
