Description

For respondents who read any brochures or pamphlets about AIDS, AIDBROBLOD indicates if respondents received the brochure as part of a blood donation other than a blood donation through through Red Cross.

Comparability

This variable is available for 1988 and 1989 only. There are no comparability issues between these years.

Universe

  • 1988: Sample persons age 18+ in quarters in quarters 2 through 4 who ever read any brochures or pamphlets about AIDS.
  • 1989: Sample persons age 18+ who ever read any brochures or pamphlets about AIDS.
