Description
For sample adults, GENCCRISK reports the respondent's perceived risk of cancer compared to the average man or woman of the same age.
The survey form directed interviewers to read if necessary, "For a cancer survivor, this means getting another cancer in the future."
GENCCRISK was included in a section of the 2005 and 2010 Cancer Control Module dedicated to questions on genetic testing.
A similar variable (GENCRISK) exists for 2000.
