For sample adults who did not spend time volunteering in the last 12 months or donât know (VOLWORKYR), VOLOTHER reports if the person did any infrequent volunteering or activities for childrenâs schools or youth organizations in the last 12 months. This question specifies that âSome people don't think of activities they do infrequently or for children's schools or youth organizations as volunteer activities.â Respondents were then asked if they had done any of this type of activity in the last 12 months.
