Description
For sample adults in 1987 who had taken vitamin or mineral supplements (VITANY) and vitamin E (VITAMINE) in the past 12 months, VITYVITEPILS reports the number of vitamin E pills taken per day by the respondent.
Related Variables
In addition to asking about the number of vitamin E pills taken per day, interviewers also asked how many international units of vitamin E were in each pill (VITYVITEUN). It is, therefore, possible to determine the number of international units of vitamin E respondents were taking, on days they took vitamin E.
