Respondents reported their level of difficulty seeing someone's face across a room.

This item was collected for sample adults who completed the Quality of Life supplement (administered to approximately a quarter of sample adults).

There are no comparability problems with VDIFACEROOM.

2010: One quarter of sample adults, included in quality of life supplement (and excluded from family disability supplement), who have no difficulty, some difficulty, or a lot of difficulty seeing, even when wearing glasses (or for whom it was unknown if they have difficulty seeing).
