Description
For sample adults age 50+ who have received the shingles vaccine (SHOTSHNGEV) or sample adults age 18+ with a weakened immune system (IMSPCHC) who have received the shingles vaccine, SHOTSHNGYR reports the year they received their most recent vaccine.
Because shingles vaccines were approved for use in the United States beginning in 2006, responses of years prior to 2006 were recoded to "9996 = Reported before year 2006."

Universe
- 2022-2023: Sample adults age 50+ who have received the shingles vaccine (SHOTSHNGEV) or sample adults age 18+ with a weakened immune system (IMSPCHC) who have received the shingles vaccine.
