Description

For sample adults ages 18 and older who did anything to reduce the radon level in their homes (RADDONE), RADACTOTH reports if the respondent mentioned something other than increasing ventilation, stopping or decreasing smoking, moving out or spending less time in the basement, or making modifications to the home to reduce the level of radon exposure in the home.

RADACTOTH is included in the sample adult section within a series of questions about environmental health concerns, including testing for lead and radon. For more information and related variables, see RADHEAR or use the IPUMS NHIS search function and drop-down menus.
