Description
For all persons who belong to an HMO or PGPP, ever see a doctor who is not a part of this plan, and gave two or more reasons for seeing an outside doctor, MDNHMORSN2 reports the second reason why the person sometimes sees other doctors.
This variable is part of the NHIS supplement on HMO coverage.
Universe
- 1975: All persons for whom the respondent can name an HMO or PGPP and belong to an HMO or PGPP and ever see a doctor outside of the plan and gave two or more reasons for seeing an outside doctor.
