Description
For all persons who belong to an HMO or PGPP and ever see a doctor who is not a part of this plan, MDNHMORSN1 reports the first reason why the person sometimes sees other doctors.
This variable is part of the NHIS supplement on HMO coverage.
Universe
- 1975: All persons for whom the respondent can name an HMO or PGPP and belong to an HMO or PGPP and ever see a doctor outside of the plan.
