Description

For half of female sample adults age 40 and over who have ever had abnormal mammogram results (MAMAB), MAMABSURG reports whether she had any treatment or surgery following the abnormal mammogram.

Comparability

MAMABSURG has no comparability issues.

Universe

  • 1987: Half of female sample persons age 40+ (excluded from CAEP) who have ever heard of a mammogram and have had a mammogram that was abnormal.
