Description

For sample children age 3 to 17 years who ever had an learning disability, LERNDAGETP refers to how old the child was when the condition was first noticed and reports whether the number of units given in LERNDAGENO is in months or years. Respondents could also report "since birth." Thus, this variable indicates only the type time period (month or year) for the units reported, and has to be used in conjunction with LERNDAGENO, which indicates the number of units.
