Description
For sample children under 7 years old who have an immunization record and who have at least one HIB shot on their record, IMRHIBMO1 reports the month when the person received his or her first HIB shot. The HIB shot is for meningitis and is called Haemophilus influenzae type B, HIB vaccine, or H. flu vaccine.
Users should combine IMRHIBMO1 with IMRHIBDA1 and IMRHIBY1, which reports the day and year of the person's first HIB shot, in order to get the complete date when the person received his or her first HIB shot.
Users are strongly encouraged to visit the Universe tab for more information on changes in the universe across surveyed years.
Universe
- 1991-1993: Sample persons under age 6, with any information transcribed from a shot record and at least one HIB shot on record.
- 1994-1996: Sample persons under age 6, and all children 19 to 35 months old, with any information transcribed from a shot record and at least one HIB shot on record.
- 1997: Sample children under age 7, and all children 19 to 35 months old in quarters 1 and 2 and 12 to 35 month old in quarters 3 and 4, with available shot record and at least one HIB shot on record.
- 1998-2002: Sample children under age 7, and all children 12 to 35 months old, with available shot record and at least one HIB shot on record.
- 2003: Sample children under age 7, with available shot record and at least one HIB shot on record.
