Description

For sample children under 18 years old who have an immunization record and who have at least two Hepatitis B vaccines on their record, IMRHEPBMO2 reports the month when the person received his or her second Hepatitis B vaccine.

Users should combine IMRHEPBMO2 with IMRHEPBDA2 and IMRHEPBY2, which reports the day and year of the person's second Hepatitis B vaccine, in order to get the complete date when the person received his or her second Hepatitis B vaccine.

Comparability

Changes in the universe limit the comparability of this variable. As always, users are advised to use the appropriate weight for their analyses.

Universe

  • 1992-1993: Sample persons under age 6, with any information transcribed from a shot record and at least two Hepatitis B shots indicated on record.
  • 1994-1996: Sample persons under age 6, and all children 19-35 months old, with any information transcribed from a shot record and at least two Hepatitis B shots indicated on record.
  • 1997: Sample children under 18, and all children 19-35 months old in quarters 1 and 2 and 12-35 months old in quarters 3 and 4, with available shot record and at least two Hepatitis B shots indicated on record.
  • 1998-2002: Sample children under 18, and all children 12-35 months old, with available shot record and at least two Hepatitis B shots indicated on record.
  • 2003: Sample children under 18, with available shot record and at least two Hepatitis B shots indicated on record.
