Description
For sample children under 6 years old who have an immunization record, IMDTPTOT reports the total number of diptheria-tetanus-pertussis (DTP) shots that the person has ever received
Users are strongly encouraged to visit the Universe tab for more information on changes in the universe across surveyed years.
Comparability
Changes in the universe between samples limit the comparability of this variable. From 1994 to 1996, sample children under 6 years old and all children aged 19-35 months who were not selected as sample children were asked of this question. In 1991-1993, only sample children younger than 6 years old were included.
Users can exclude all children aged 19-35 months in 1994 to 1996 who were not selected as sample children, using IMMSAMP

- 1994-1996: Sample persons under age 6 and all persons 19-35 months.
