Description

For sample children under 18 years old who have ever had an additional shot for chickenpox that was not on the shot record, IMACPOXNO reports the number of additional shots for chickenpox that the person has ever had.

Users are strongly encouraged to visit the Universe tab for more information on changes in the universe across surveyed years.

Comparability

Changes in the universe limit the comparability of this variable. As always, users are advised to use the appropriate weight for their analyses.

Universe

  • 1997: Sample children under 18 and all children 19-35 months old in Quarters 1 and 2 and 12-35 months old in Quarters 3 and 4 who have had additional chicken pox shots not listed on record.
  • 1998-2002: Sample children under 18 and all children 12-35 months old who have had additional chicken pox shots not listed on record.
  • 2003: Sample children under 18 who have had additional chickenpox shots not listed on record.
