Description

For sample children under 18 years old, IMACPOX reports if the person has ever received an additional shot for chickenpox that was not on the shot record.

Users are strongly encouraged to visit the Universe tab for more information on changes in the universe across surveyed years.

Comparability

Changes in the universe limit the comparability of this variable. As always, users are advised to use the appropriate weight for their analyses.

Universe

  • 1997: Sample children under 18 and all children 19-35 months old in Quarters 1 and 2 and 12-35 months old in Quarters 3 and 4 with a shot record but whose shots are not all on record (or for whom it was unknown if all shots were on record).
  • 1998-2002: Sample children under 18 and all children 12-35 months old with a shot record but whose shots are not all on record (or for whom it was unknown if their shots are all on record).
  • 2003: Sample children under 18 with a shot record but whose shots are not all on record (or for whom it was unknown if their shots are all on record).
