Description
For sample adults and sample children who received care at home from a health care professional in the past 12 months (HOMECAREYR), HOMECAREMO reports answers to the question, "During how many of the past 12 months did [sample adult/sample child] receive care at home from a health care professional?"
The Field Representative's Manuals for 1997-2001 instruct,
Always probe for an exact number. If the [respondent/sample adult] reports a range or interval, assist the [respondent/sample adult] in making an estimate by probing. For example, you might ask, 'Could you give me a more exact number?'
As a follow-up to HOMECAREMO, respondents were asked about the total number of home visits received during those months (HOMECARENO).
