Description
For sample adults in 2000 and sample adults and children in 2012 who had taken any mixed or single herbal or botanical supplement during the past 12 months (HERYR), HERYFISH indicates whether the person had taken fish oils or omega fatty acids during the past 12 months.
Fish oils or omega fatty acids was one of many alternative health treatment modalities included in the 2012 Complementary and Alternative Health Supplements. If sample respondents gave a positive response to HERYFISH, they were asked a series of follow-up questions.
