Description

For all persons, FAMHOMCA2WNO reports the number of family members of the person who received care at home from a health care professional in the past 2 weeks. Care from a health care professional was defined as health care from all types of doctors and other health professionals. Respondents were told NOT to include dental care or care while an overnight patient in a hospital.

Comparability

Beginning in 1998, respondents were also told to exclude children born during the week of the interview. Otherwise, there are no comparability issues.
