Description
For sample persons age 20 and older in the second half of 1975 who had participated in wrestling in the past 12 months (EXWRESPAR), EXWRESTOR indicates whether the person had taken participated in wrestling tournaments either as an individual or as a member of a team during the past 12 months.
Wrestling was one of 15 sports (including one residual "other" category) that respondents were asked about in the 1975 NHIS. In addition to being asked if they had participated in wrestling tournaments, those who indicated that they had participated in wrestling (EXWRESPAR) were asked whether they had participated in wrestling as a member of an organized team in the past 12 months (EXWRESTEM).
