Description
For sample persons age 20 and older in the second half of 1975 who had participated in volleyball in the past 12 months (EXVOLLPAR), EXVOLLTOR indicates whether the person had taken participated in volleyball tournaments either as an individual or as a member of a team during the past 12 months.
Volleyball was one of 15 sports (including one residual "other" category) that respondents were asked about in the 1975 NHIS. In addition to being asked if they had participated in volleyball tournaments, those who indicated that they had played volleyball (EXVOLLPAR) were asked whether they had participated in volleyball as a member of an organized team in the past 12 months (EXVOLLTEM).
