For sample persons age 20 and older in the second half of 1975, EXSOCRPAR indicates whether the person had participated in soccer in the past 12 months.

Soccer was one of 15 sports (including one residual "other" category) that respondents were asked about in the 1975 NHIS. Those who responded "Yes" to EXSOCRPAR were asked whether they had participated in soccer as part of a team (EXSOCRTEM) and whether they had participated in soccer tournaments either as an individual or as a member of a team (EXSOCRTOR) during the past 12 months.

Comparability

There are no comparability problems for EXSOCRPAR.
