Description
For sample children age
5-17 who have ever been suspended, excluded, or expelled from school, EXPELWHY reports if the suspension, exclusion, or expulsion was for health or behavior reasons.

Universe
- 1988: Sample persons age 5-17 who have ever attended school, who are not in school or are on vacation from school or are in/will be in first grade through college senior or in ungraded school (or for whom it was unknown if they were in school or on vacation or for whom grade was unknown), AND who have repeated a grade.
